A Time to Mourn, A Time to Dance
We were surprised some time ago when Dr. Cromie asked us to write the story of how we have managed to cope with the death of two children who were taken in their adult lives. It seemed an impossible assignment. Our friend Richard kept encouraging us, saying that our testimony would help endless numbers of people who have to face the worst and still keep the faith.
We do not get through this mortal life without the love and care of many people. In our case, one of them is Richard Cromie. He and his wife Peggy spent many hours with us as we grieved. He allowed us to vent our feelings and ask questions. He shared our hurt. He has been there for us so many times when we needed the special pastor and friend.
We hope that the thoughts and experience that we deliver in this book can do the same for others.
